Advice
You can substitute turkey with any other meat and cook using the same recipe. Adding garlic to the mince gives the patties a completely different flavor. You can also add hot chili pepper to the sauce for an extra kick.

Step 1
Before starting on the patties, I roasted sweet bell pepper in an oven preheated to 390°F (200°C). I wrapped the pepper in foil and baked it until tender. Then I placed it in a pot with the lid tightly closed for a few minutes to help loosen the skin. While the pepper cooled, I began preparing the patties.
Step 2
I used stale white bread since it doesn’t get too soggy in water like fresh bread. I cut off the thick crusts, tore the bread into pieces, and soaked it in a bit of water (I used boiled water). You can also use milk, which gives the bread and the patties a creamy flavor.

I made the mince from turkey fillet using a blender (or you can use a meat grinder). I finely chopped green onions. Then I combined the turkey mince, egg, corn (drained), squeezed bread, and chopped green onions. I added salt to taste, freshly ground black pepper, and mixed everything thoroughly.
Step 4
I shaped small patties and lightly fried them on both sides in a small amount of preheated vegetable oil. Then I covered them with foil and placed the pan in the oven for 5–7 minutes.
Step 5
While the patties were in the oven, I made the sauce. I removed the seeds and stem from the pepper, peeled the skin, and diced it. I peeled and finely chopped all the garlic. I squeezed juice from a lemon. Then I combined the sweet pepper with chopped dill and garlic, added lemon juice, tomato sauce, salt, and mixed well.

I poured the hot sauce over the hot patties. The dish is ready to serve! You can garnish with chopped green onion and some canned corn.
