Step 1
Use your favorite dried fruits. For extra sweetness, you can add honey or a sugar substitute. Bananas can also be used instead of dried fruit.
Step 2
Rinse prunes, dried apricots, and raisins thoroughly. Pour hot water over them and let them sit for a while, then drain and pat dry.

Step 3
Soak the oats in water for about 10 minutes to let them swell.
Step 4
Drain the water from the oats using a sieve or cheesecloth.
Step 5
Chop the dried apricots and prunes into small pieces. Sort through the raisins and remove any stems.

Step 9
With wet hands, form small round or oval cookies and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Lightly grease the parchment with vegetable oil to prevent sticking.
Step 10
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for about 15 minutes. Baking time may vary slightly, so keep an eye on them. Remove from oven when golden.
Step 11
Let the cookies cool, then carefully remove them from the parchment. Serve with tea, coffee, or even better – with a glass of milk. Enjoy!
