Step 1
Prepare the ingredients. Choose medium-sized, meaty bell peppers. Use any ground meat—beef, pork, chicken, turkey, or a mix. Both store-bought and homemade mince work. Pick a cheese that melts well. Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F).
Step 2
Cut the peppers. Wash them, slice lengthwise in half, and remove the stem and seeds.

Step 3
Soften the peppers. Place the pepper halves in a microwave-safe dish and microwave them. The exact time depends on your microwave’s power. At 800W, cook for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Cook the filling. Heat a pan over medium heat, add oil, and fry the ground meat, stirring, until it changes color. Add tomato paste and cream, then mix well. You can substitute tomato paste with ketchup or canned tomatoes. Adjust the amount to taste.
Step 5
Add cheese and seasoning. Stir in grated cheese, then season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 5-10 minutes until excess liquid evaporates.
