Advice
How to choose a ripe mango? Don’t rely on color. Focus on texture and firmness. A ripe mango should feel soft when pressed but not mushy. The skin should be smooth, not wrinkled (unless it’s a wrinkled-skinned variety). The fruit should have an oval shape and feel plump. The aroma should be lightly sweet. If it has no smell and feels firm, it’s unripe. Let it ripen at room temperature for a few days. Still, it’s better to pick already ripe mangoes.

Step 1
Choose fragrant, ripe, and juicy strawberries. You can also substitute or add other berries or fruits to taste. Kefir can be replaced with plain yogurt, or for extra flavor, try strawberry or mango yogurt.
Step 2
Wash and pat dry the strawberries, remove the stems, and slice them. If using frozen berries, thaw them first.

Step 3
Wash and dry the mango. Slice it in half and remove the pit. Peel each half and cut into small pieces. Important: peel the mango after slicing it to avoid slipping – the flesh becomes slippery after peeling. The pit is large and flat, and the flesh clings tightly, so it may take effort.
Step 4
In a tall blender cup, add the mango and strawberry pieces. Pour in kefir. Choose the fat content based on your preference. You can also use milk – regular or plant-based (like coconut or almond milk). Add honey or sugar if you want extra sweetness, especially if the kefir is tangy.
Step 5
Blend for 1–2 minutes using an immersion blender until smooth and creamy.
