Step 1
You can adjust or replace the vegetables to your taste. The salad doesn't have to be dressed with just mayonnaise—you can mix mayonnaise and sour cream in equal parts or use a yogurt-based dressing. A light vegetable oil dressing will also work.
Step 2
Boil the chicken in salted water for about 25 minutes until cooked. Let it cool, then cut into medium-sized pieces.

Step 3
Cut the smoked cheese into medium cubes. If using sausage-style smoked cheese, you can substitute with another type, like string cheese (chechil).
Step 4
Clean the bell pepper of seeds and stem, then cut into thin strips. To make the salad more colorful and visually appealing, use different colored peppers.
Step 5
Wash the cucumbers and slice them into thin rounds. If the skin is too tough, peel it. Likewise, remove seeds from overripe cucumbers as they can be hard.

Step 6
Peel the red onion and slice into thin rings or half-rings. If desired, you can marinate the onion in vinegar with sugar.
Step 7
Rinse the parsley, shake off excess water, and finely chop. You can substitute or combine it with dill, green onions, or mixed herbs.
Step 8
In a salad bowl, combine the cooked chicken, cucumbers, bell peppers, smoked cheese, onion, and herbs. Season with salt and pepper, add mayonnaise, and mix well. Optionally, serve the mayonnaise on the side in a sauce dish. Enjoy!
