Step 1
You can use either pickled or brined cucumbers for this salad. Choose cheese that's easy to grate and suits your taste. Rinse the mushrooms to remove any dirt. Boil the eggs in water for 7–8 minutes. Then drain and cool them in cold water.

Peel and finely chop the onion. Heat a skillet with a little vegetable oil, then sauté the onion for about 1 minute until it becomes translucent.

Finely chop the mushrooms and add them to the skillet with the onion. Mix and fry together for 5–7 minutes. The mushrooms will release liquid at first, but it will evaporate, and then they'll start to brown.
Step 4
Transfer the fried mushrooms to a plate to cool. Peel the cooked eggs.
Step 5
The salad will be layered. Place a serving ring on a plate. Add the mushrooms as the first layer and lightly spread some mayonnaise on top.

Grate the eggs and place them on top of the mushrooms. Add another light layer of mayonnaise.
Step 7
Cut the cucumbers into small cubes.
Step 8
Add the chopped cucumbers as the next layer and again top with a little mayonnaise.

Finally, grate the cheese and spread it over the top layer. Press it down slightly and remove the serving ring. The salad with mushrooms, cheese, and eggs is ready. Chill it a bit before serving and decorate to your taste. Enjoy!
