Step 1
You can replace beef with pork, veal, or chicken. You can use either white or red canned beans. If you have cooked beans, you can use them instead. Adjust the vegetables to your taste. I used olive oil, but any vegetable oil will work.
Step 2
Boil the beef in boiling water for about 1 hour or until tender. To make the meat more flavorful, add a bay leaf, a whole peeled onion, black peppercorns, and parsley or cilantro stems to the broth.

Step 3
Remove the cooked beef from the broth, let it cool, and cut it into thin strips. Alternatively, you can roast or pan-fry the meat instead of boiling.
Step 4
Drain all the liquid from the canned beans and place the beans in a colander. It's recommended to rinse them under cold water to remove any sticky residue. Dry the beans well so the salad won't become watery.
Step 5
Shake off excess brine from the pickles and slice them into rounds. You can replace pickles with marinated or fresh cucumbers if you prefer.

Step 6
Clean the bell pepper by removing seeds and stems, then slice it into thin strips.
Step 7
Peel and thinly slice the red onion into rings or half-rings.
Step 8
Wash, shake off excess water, and finely chop the parsley and cilantro. You can substitute or add other herbs like dill, basil, green onions, or wild garlic.

Step 9
In a salad bowl, mix the boiled beef, canned beans, pickles, bell pepper, onion, and herbs.
Step 10
Drizzle with vegetable oil and lemon juice, season with salt and pepper, and mix well. Serve the salad with boiled beef and pickles immediately. Enjoy!
