Step 1
Prepare the ingredients. You can adjust the quantity and types of vegetables according to your taste or availability. Use red beans, in its own juice, without additives. You can also cook the beans yourself if desired. You can use any type of onion for the salad, I prefer red. For tomatoes, both regular and cherry work well; choose based on taste and availability.
Step 2
Rinse the lettuce leaves under running water, then dry them thoroughly. It’s best to dry them in a salad spinner, which dries the leaves completely. If you don’t have one, use paper towels. Don’t leave the leaves wet, as they will wilt in the final dish. Tear the lettuce leaves by hand into a salad bowl — using hands prevents wilting from metal contact.

Wash the cucumbers, dry them, and slice them into rings or smaller pieces, depending on their size. The slicing style for such salads is flexible, so cut them to your liking. Taste the cucumbers first to ensure they aren’t bitter, as bitter ones can ruin the taste. Place the cucumbers on top of the lettuce leaves.
Step 4
Wash the tomatoes, dry them, and cut them into halves. Add them to the salad.

Wash the bell pepper, dry it, remove seeds and stem, and cut it into rings, then into smaller pieces. Add it to the salad bowl.

Peel the onion, slice it into thin rings, and add it to the salad.

Add the beans to the other ingredients.

Prepare the dressing: in a small bowl, mix mustard, vegetable oil, and lemon juice. You can adjust the type of mustard and oil based on preference. The amount of lemon juice is up to you, and you can also add a little honey.

Drizzle the dressing over the salad. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately, as fresh vegetable dishes don't last long before they release juice. Enjoy your meal!
