It's very simple! Prepare all ingredients. I use beef mince, but you can substitute it with lamb, a mix of beef and pork, or chicken. If using frozen mince, be sure to thaw it before cooking.

Rinse the parsley thoroughly under running water and pat dry with paper towels. Finely chop the parsley.

Peel, wash, and finely chop the onion. I use a fine grater, but you can also finely dice it with a knife. Peel the garlic and crush it using a garlic press.

Add the parsley, onion, garlic, and spices (cinnamon, cumin, black pepper, and paprika) to the minced meat. Season with salt and mix thoroughly. You can adjust the spices to your preference, but this blend gives a Middle Eastern touch.

Gently open the pita pocket and fill it with the meat mixture. Don’t overfill, as the filling may not cook through properly.
