Step 1
Gather all the ingredients. Choose any type of cheese you like. Use a bell pepper of any color (I have yellow). Any fat content of kefir will work. The kefir, eggs, and cottage cheese for the dough should be at room temperature, so take them out of the fridge in advance. You can replace parsley with any other fresh herbs.

Boil the eggs until hard-boiled. Place them in a saucepan, cover with cold water, and bring to a boil. Cook for 10 minutes, then transfer to cold water for 3 minutes before peeling.

Pour baking soda into a glass of kefir, stir, and let sit for 5 minutes. The mixture will double in volume.
Step 4
Meanwhile, prepare the filling. Cut the boiled eggs, hard cheese (I used Dutch cheese), and bell pepper (mine was frozen) into small cubes. Chop the parsley. If desired, add a chopped onion.
Step 5
In a bowl, combine the cottage cheese with a raw egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well with a fork.

Pour in the kefir with baking soda and mix.

Add the sifted flour and mix well until a thick dough forms.
Step 8
Fold the chopped filling ingredients into the dough and stir. The dough should be thick enough. Depending on the flour quality, you may need slightly more or less flour.

Heat oil in a frying pan and place spoonfuls of dough in the shape of small pancakes.
Step 10
Fry the lazy pies on medium heat for about 3 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Serve the lazy fried pies with cheese warm. Enjoy your meal!
