Step 1
You can use either raw or cooked-frozen shrimp, which are commonly sold in stores. Thaw them in the refrigerator, moving them from the freezer to the bottom shelf. It is important to do this gently, so that the shrimp retain their flavor.
Step 2
Prepare the shrimp: remove the head and peel off the shell. You can leave the tail on if you prefer. I usually remove it. Make a small slit along the back with a sharp knife and remove the intestinal vein. Rinse the cleaned shrimp under cold running water, then pat them dry thoroughly to prevent excess moisture from interfering with frying. Be prepared for the shrimp to shrink significantly as they cook, so consider this when calculating portion sizes.

Peel the garlic and remove the germ from the clove, as it can be bitter. Finely chop the garlic. You can adjust the amount based on your taste preferences.

Heat a skillet over medium heat and pour in some vegetable oil for frying. Add the shrimp to the hot oil and fry them quickly. For cooked shrimp, one minute is enough, but for raw shrimp, cook them a bit longer until they turn pink.

Add the chopped garlic to the shrimp and stir. Next, add the butter. Season the dish with salt and pepper to taste. Fry for another minute.
