Chopped Chicken Fritters with Onion and Carrot

Juicy, tender, and appetizing – these chopped chicken fritters with onion and carrot are incredibly delicious. Fried to perfection, they have a beautiful golden color thanks to the carrot. Be sure to try them – you won’t regret it!

Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients. I used chicken breast fillet, but you can also use thigh or drumstick fillet. Choose neutral-flavored vegetable oil.

Peel, rinse, and finely dice the onion.

Peel, rinse, and grate the carrot using a coarse grater.
Step 4
Heat some vegetable oil in a frying pan. Sauté the onion over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until half-cooked.

Add the grated carrot to the pan, stir, and continue frying until the vegetables soften.

Rinse and pat dry the chicken fillet, then cut it into very small pieces.

In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs until smooth.

Add the chopped chicken and sautéed vegetables to the bowl, then mix well.

Pour in the yogurt, add salt, and stir.

Gradually add the flour.

Mix everything thoroughly and let the batter rest for 15 minutes.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Scoop the batter with a spoon, shaping small fritters of medium thickness. Fry over medium heat until golden brown on one side.

Flip the fritters with a spatula and fry until fully cooked and golden brown on the other side. I made 12 small fritters.

Serve the chicken fritters hot with a salad or any side dish. They go well with your favorite sauces or gravies. Enjoy your meal!
