Step 1
Start by preparing the ingredients from the list. You can use any type of minced meat or a mix of different meats. I made my own mince from chicken fillet, but you can also use store-bought minced meat to save time. You can substitute chicken with turkey or any other meat of your choice, but keep in mind that cooking time and calorie content will change.
Step 2
Wash the chicken fillet, pat it dry, cut it into pieces, and grind it using a meat grinder or blender.

Step 3
Soak white bread in cream and leave it for 10 minutes. Then squeeze out the excess liquid.
Step 4
Add the soaked bread, egg, Provençal herbs, salt, and pepper to the minced meat. Mix thoroughly until smooth.
Step 5
With wet hands, shape small, evenly sized patties.

Step 6
Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the patties for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Transfer them to a plate.
Step 7
Now, prepare the sauce ingredients. You can use cream of any fat content; I used 20%. I chose smooth, plain processed cheese.
Step 8
In the same pan where the patties were fried, pour in the cream. Add the processed cheese, bay leaf, and nutmeg. Simmer the sauce, stirring, until the cheese is fully melted.

Step 9
Return the patties to the pan with the sauce.
Step 10
Let them simmer on low heat under a lid for about 10 minutes. Serve the chicken patties in a creamy sauce with any side dish of your choice. Enjoy your meal!
