Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients. Olives can be omitted, but they add a bold, tangy flavor. If possible, use bell peppers of different colors for a more visually appealing dish.

Peel the onion and garlic. Cut the bell peppers in half and remove the seeds. Rinse all vegetables and pat them dry with a paper towel.

Finely dice the onion. Heat a little vegetable oil in a frying pan and sauté the onion until translucent.

Cut the bell peppers into cubes and crush or finely chop the garlic. Add them to the onion and cook over medium heat, stirring, for about 5-7 minutes.
