Step 1
For the meatballs, use lean meat from the chicken breast, but you can also use thigh meat. You can substitute chicken with turkey.
Step 2
Cut the crusts off the white bread, soak the flesh in milk, and let it swell, then squeeze out the excess.

Step 3
Wash the chicken fillet, dry it, and cut it into medium-sized pieces.
Step 4
Grind the chicken in a blender or pass it through a meat grinder a couple of times. You can use pre-ground store-bought meat to save time.
Step 5
Finely chop the onion. You can add the onion to the mixture either raw or fried. I added it raw.

Step 6
In a bowl, combine the chicken mince, onion, and soaked bread. Mix everything thoroughly with your hands. Add the crushed garlic cloves, salt, pepper, and mix again until homogeneous.
Step 7
Wet your hands and form walnut-sized meatballs or slightly bigger ones from the mixture.
Step 8
Place the meatballs in a greased baking dish, leaving space between them. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 15-20 minutes.

Step 9
While the meatballs are baking, prepare the creamy sauce. You can use cream of any fat content. I used 20% fat cream. For the cheese, I used soft processed cheese, without additives. In a small bowl, combine the cream and processed cheese. Stir until smooth. I blended everything with an immersion blender. If needed, add a little salt.
Step 10
Grate the hard cheese.
Step 11
Pour the creamy sauce over the meatballs and return them to the oven for another 15-20 minutes.

Step 12
